The Competition
This competition has been designed to make a real difference to the lives of two young people, and was conceived by four organisations, who have worked in partnership to launch this pioneering venture.
BLD with the leading Law School, BPP, global bank, Barclays Bank Plc and one of the world’s top 15 Law firms, Reed Smith, have collaborated to design a lifetime opportunity of two free places to study Law.
At the heart of this competition are the issues of social mobility, diversity within the legal profession, and financial barriers to higher education - all of which have been addressed to allow opportunities for those from non-traditional backgrounds.
The winners will be in good hands receiving education, work experience and mentoring from the biggest names in legal training and practice. This competition offers more than just the study of a degree in law. The unique prize also provides the recipients with the best possible preparation for a career in law.
