BLD holds its sixth annual Black History Month Event and the official launch of its Black Letter Law 2011 publication at the Law Society on Thursday 6 October 2011. The theme this year is BMEs in the Law – Creating and Doing Business in the UK and Worldwide.

Trevor Faure. Trevor is the Global General Counsel and Partner at Ernst & Young Global. Trevor is a barrister and leads the global Ernst & Young network of 400 lawyers worldwide.

Magdalene Bayim-Adomako. Magdalene is a partner and Head of Bank Finance in the Banking and Capital Markets group at the London office of global law firm White & Case.

Segun Osuntokun. Segun is a partner at leading City firm Berwin Leighton Paisner and a commercial litigator whose clients include national governments and international financial institutions.

Imran Khan. Imran is a partner at Imran Khan & Partners, a leading human rights law firm. He is best known as representing the Stephen Lawrence family.

Shaun Wallace. Shaun is a barrister of Farringdon Chambers and is known as the “Dark Destroyer” on the ITV show The Chase. Shaun made legal history as the first black to win Mastermind.
