News - News - A New President for the Law Society
12 Jul, 2006 |
Fiona Woolf, of the City firm CMS Cameron McKenna, became the Law Society President yesterday. As the Law Society has split its roles into three, namely as a "trade union" representing the interests of over 110,000 solicitors in England and Wales, as a regulator and the body handling complaints against solicitors, Ms Woolf’s role as President of the Law Society is limited to that of its representative role. |
