| Adekunle Tijani, a solicitor-advocate and director at Cotisens Solicitors in Barking, Essex, was named Outstanding Solicitor of the Year by the Black Solicitors Network (BSN) at its awards ceremony. Adekunle earned the title for his contribution and training given to young legal professionals. Oba Nsugbe QC, joint head of Chambers at 3 Pump Court, received a Lifetime Contribution Award. Oba is also a Recorder a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). He was the first Nigerian to be awarded the rank of silk practising abroad. Leila Green Stapleton was named Most Promising Young Lawyer. |
