News - News - Extension of the judicial work shadowing scheme

The Judicial Work Shadowing Scheme is a scheme for legal practitioners to shadow a judge to gain an insight into their judicial work. The scheme has been extended and was re-launched in October 2008. Eligibility for the scheme has been widened to allow fellows of the Institute of Legal Executives, registered Patent Attorneys and registered Trade Mark Attorneys to shadow a judge, in addition to barristers and solicitors. High Court Judges can also be shadowed as part of the scheme.
